My career in research began at Indiana University, where I spent 8 years total working in clinical and observational studies in internal medicine, family planning, and GI/hepatology and endocrinology. I graduated with my BA and MA in Sociology from IUPUI (now IU Indy) with a concentration in medical sociology. I’m excited to use my sociology training and extensive clinical research experience to further the mission of Dr. Montgomery’s lab! When I’m not working, I enjoy exercising, reading, knitting, quilting, and spending time outdoors.
